He delivered the 85mm f1.2 just purchased from Eddie. Never has a postman been so welcome.

One day I will have one.......oh and the 35mm to go with it!! Hey a girl can dream! :)

Very nice indeed! Congrats. I hope you are both very happy together.

Kev.

In bliss. Used it live this afternoon for a portrait sitting, gee its sharp. Its also proving to me what I have come to realise.........zooms can make for a lazy photographer :lol::lol::lol:

I can vote thumbs up for the Nikkor 85 1.8 its a peach. ;)

The photo took a while to load and I was really hoping it would be the post man for some reason  That would of demonstrated some real eagerness to get a shot with it on.

I would have worried about the packaging though, we nickname our postie Sebastian Coe, if I had unwrapped it quickly enough .............:D:D

The packaging was too robust for that :p

Having second thoughts now :'(

Hi Ed

It was very well wrapped, many thanks. Jess loved playing with those airbags :):)

She certainly is a cracking lens but I bet that new 200mm of yours is the bees knees. I remember getting my first 200mm, I think it was a zuiko on an olympus OM1 some 25 years ago, I loved the way it compressed everything

To be honest, the 200L is just filling a gap, if I sell my 300mm Tokina I will be buying a Canon 300L f2.8 IS, now that is one lens I am looking forward to getting!
