Fixation Estimates - How Long?

Had to send a lens off to Fixation ... paperwork says it takes 2 days to get an estimate and so far it's been 5 working days - just wondering what other folks experience has been.

Guess they may be gearing up for a sports days in London...Don't want to mention it by name in case Locog tell me off.

Give them a call and ask.

They can be quite slow at times and I've had them get my detailed mixed up before.

Yes. Tele lenses take longer. I sent them my 400 2.8 last month and it took almost a week for the estimate...

But surprisingly the 'repair' took a day as all it needed was a bayonet mount replacement...
I also got student discount!
No labour charges as I sent them a copy of my student ID!

Sent a couple of bodies in and always had an estimate in less than five days and I always forget to mention my cps membership

Odd one, they say they sent an estimate within 2 days of receiving the lens and they've sent two duplicates today ... I get all of the standard emails but never the ones with the estimate attached and they don't appear in any spam boxes
