here is an interesting little challenge for you all!
I have one of these beautiful beasts, sorry I am not at home so can't take actual photos!
(Tamron 70-210 F2.8 SP LD)
However if you look at the aperture ring you can see there is no 'block' to push the little switch on the D90 to let it know the lens is set to an aperture of 32, therefore it kicks out the 'fee' error
I currently just have a piece of plastic held in place by a load of electrical tape wrapped around the aperture ring (I have no need to use this manually), this actually works quite well but it does move around on occasion and usually at the most inappropriate time!
Can anyone think of a better solution? I did ponder gluing something to the aperture ring, but I am not convinced it would be strong enough!
To be honest with the 80-200 on the way I'll probably be selling it anyway, but I thought it would be an interesting question to put to you all!
