Last night at the local photography meet we having a play with studio lighting (first time for me).
I set my D7K pop up flash to Comander mode as minimum power, and when it flashed the studio flashes triggered nicely initially whilst we were taking measurements etc and I got a great test shot. My self and a friend who was using a canon crop sensor in the same way had sucess initially along with the others in the group who were triggering wirelessly and with infra red, suddenly both the Canon and my Nikon stopped syncing with the studio lights. They were still firing the flashes but not syncing and we were getting black pictures. We couldn't figure out why between us. Shame - it was all going so well....
Would love to figure out why the flashes would trigger but not sync. Unlikely to be a camera setting as both the canon and nikon crop cameras had the same problem. The Leica guys and the D3's with wireless were all fine. Any suggestions?
