Have had a quick search but not much came up.

Am looking for a good flash set up for my D3100. Want something that I can use on and off camera.

Not to clued up on flashes at all :shrug: but want something that will last if/when I upgrade my camera etc.

As for budget dont really want to spend any more then £100 new or used (not including triggers etc). But don't know if that's enough for a good quality flash?

Worth taking a look at the Nissin Di622. Very easy to use and good value. With the D3100, the off camera flash will be manual but if you buy the MK2 version and ever upgrade to a camera with 'flash commander' you'll be able to use wireless TTL as well.

But sorry if this a stupid question. But what do you mean the flash will be manual off camera?
