Hi All,

I have just brought a used D7000 and love it!! Upgraded from a D3100.

I am now after a suitable Flash for it. It will be used in some off camera work etc. I am still a novice and learning as I go along so don't want to spend a fortune (the camera cleared my piggy bank!)
Which speed light do I need to look at for ease of use etc. Which makes are any good and good value?
Also, apart from the dreaded Ebay, where is good to purchase used?

Cheers for any help and advice.

Jim.

I use two D7000 cameras, and agree you should love it :)

Although I have 2 SB800s for my Weddings, for OCF work I'm just about to buy 3 Yongnuo 560 MK III and their triggers RF602 - all in that lot will cost less than one Nikon SB910 and by a long way - perfect for manual shooting and OCF work; as to where to buy them - Google is your friend and will no doubt be mine too :)

Hi

You need to have a budget in mind and also if you want on with ttl or just manual.

If you want ttl have a look for a used sb800, for manual you cannot go wrong with the yn560. You can by the yn flashes from amazon. There is a yn flash that will work ttl I think it is yn565ex.

For my d7000 I bought a Yongnuo yn-568ex 11 ttl recently
very happy with the results
