Flash glare in spectacles

Anyone got any tips for getting rid of flash glare in spectacles?

Mrs D.S hates cameras pointed at her hence most pictures of her involve horrible faces or hands and hair in the way but I actually managed to sneak a good one the other night when she got back from the hair dressers.

I have done a bit of processing on it, as I want her to like it too, but wanted to finish it up by removing the glare.

The easiest way, although maybe a little too late now (sorry!), is to take two shots at the time. Using exactly the same pose, take one with and one without glasses, then its a case of using photomerge, pencilling out the eyes & glasses, blend the layers, a careful bit of eraser work and voila.

Other than that i guess it's a case of time consuming cloning and erasing...

when you take future photo's a good tip is to angle the specs slightly, either by dropping them lower on the bridge of the nose or lifting the legs slightly so they are above the ears.

Ah ok, thanks very much!

I wish I could get her to pose for me but I got two hopes of that and Bob died years ago
