Hi i am looking for a cheep flash gun for my canon500d. I have found one on ebay a jessops 360afd but no one can tell me if it will work with my camera help anyone.
 
Not a Canon owner but have you asked Jessops?

It's something you need to query with the ebay seller. I would have thought the ad would clearly state which camera it's compatible with? They make this flash unit compatible with various cameras including Canon. Sony, Nikon Pentax, Konica etc. so make sure it's the one compatible with your camera.
 
ask the seller. If he can't tell you then ewalk away.

I had a look on ebay just now, typed in "360AFD" and loads came up for canon fitments.
Might be the easier way to do it.
The one I did say which didn't state clearly what it would fit is for a sony/minolta.
 
360AFDC is the one you want (C for Canon)
360AFDN is Nikon
360 AFDS is Sony Etc.etc.

If the AFDC then will work. Or look at one from Flash In The Pan on here. THe Yongnuo have a good right up, bit more usable than the jessops and less than £50 IIRC
