flash photography at 1/2000

just checking on my camera's ability to do flash at its top speed...

it was taken in daylight at f2.8 in late afternoon sun...the exposure preview was almost completely dark

iso setting 80...

and set at f2.8

just a fun trial to see if i cant get some daylight and well balanced fill flash i could use the flash only by using a high shutter speed...no synch problems fortunately

No, I haven't tried it Geof and can't even tell you whether the E-3 syncs at 1/2000. I will check that out next time I set up for an outdoors flash shot.
