Hi all,
Ive got an Interfit 150 studio kit. It has 2 units with 2 soft boxes. Each unit has a 150w modelling light in the centre surrounded by the flash tube.
I can turn down the modelling bulb to modify a shot but what I cant alter is the flash. So in cases where I set up at someones house and there is not a huge amount of space the images can appear to be blown out. Ive tried speeding up the shutter speed to 320 but at this point you can start to see the 2nd curtain at the bottom of the image. Im thinking of buying some umbrellas which would soften the light by turning the lights away from the subject unless someone can advise me on how to correct this issue?
Cheers
Andy
