Flash Triggers with ETTL for canon

Looking for fast paced use at portraits/weddings using ETTL with better results in strong sunlight than the Canon STE2

Three options I know of but need ETTL !

Pocket wizards TTflex/mini models

Radio Poppers PX (may not be UK)

Canon STE2* I have this but poor results in strong sunlight have made me look elsewhere...

Any thought or experiences invited....

You've got it. Just comments really.

PWs are much more sophisticated, and do a lot of genuinely useful things with Hypersync and HSS etc. You need to satisfy yourself that the CE versions work reliably re range. Search RobGalbraith.com for the lowdown on the US version RF interference issues.

A 580EX as master has more range than the ST-E2.

Usual problem with optical mastering in daylight is distance from camera to flash. You might be able to get the master unit much closer to the slaves with a 10m E-TTL extension cord. About £40. I think FITP sells them.
