I bought one of these about 3 years ago when it was called the Flexline Pro, I was travelling to the USA frequently then to visit family and it was lighter and easier to pack than my Wimberley gimbal. I'm not totally sure how it relates in size to yours but the principle is identical.
It's probably the most ubiquitous head I have ever used, I use it mostly with my Sony A9 and Sony 200-600 when I'm shooting from my hide as a standard gimbal alternative but I've also used it as a standard ball head for general work and macro. The usage there is slightly different as the silver head is used only, the lockdown is instant and there is zero "droop" which is vital for macro. I've even used it for astrophotography.
My only gripe is the really weird clamp, I've never seen anything else like it and you have to be really careful when mounting a body.
