Good morning everyone!

Do you acknowledge people's comments on your Flickr? I make a point of doing so, but notice that other people don't. Is doing so the norm or not? The only time I don't do it is when someone has only stuck a huge annoying group logo in the comments!
 
I usually acknowledge 'actual' comments (as opposed to stupid big logos) by commenting on their photostream or replying to them in my own photo comments.

I try to respond to everyone though occasionally I have been known to miss comments, and I try and a avoid the groups that use the annoying giffs and images as they do my head in :shrug:

I'm very bad at flickr. While I do reciprocate contacts, I very rarely comment. So I'd like to thank the person, who I believe is a member here, for commenting on a couple of my photos last week.
 
I'm not the most active of Flickr users either but I do try to respond to people who comment

nope unless it's someone I actually know. I only use flickr for hosting so can't be arsed with comments lol
 
I don't generally have a problem as it is rare that anyone does comment! I think it would depend on the quality of comments as to whether you responded to them.

If someone says something constructive then I reply, but if it's just a "generic" comment like "great shot" etc then I would not bother unless it's someone that I follow. If I follow someone it means I really like their photos/style so I don't follow many people. I certainly don't go in for this "you follow me so i follow you" nonsense.
 
I'm useless with Flickr.
I predominantly use it just for photo hosting, and although I always reciprocate contact requests I just don't get the time to go on there and get involved with all the commenting and stuff.

:( So apologies to anyone on here who may have left me a comment and not got a response . . . it really isn't anything personal.
 
I try to reply to comments left on there but as I have all my albums set to private and only my contacts can see them, I know who's commenting
