Hi all.
Need some advice on flickr picture sizes.
At the moment I have Available sizes: Square (75X75), Thumbnail (100X68),
Small (240X164), Medium (500X342), Large (1024X701) and Original (2681X1836).

If I want to use a shot to put on the forums, I have to use the Medium (500X342) because the large is too big for the forum, but the medium is really too small!!

So without having to resize all my shots, and then upload them all again, is there a way I can resize ALL my flickr shots to say 800X533 without too much hassle?

Sorry it's a bit of a long post.......

Dowload the flickr uploader mate.

You can then set the size in the settings, and then it does all the magic for you, without stripping out the EXIF data too. Just drag the original JPEG into the uploader and hey presto you get the imaged uploaded at the required size!

Feel free to PM me if you want some help with it, I will happily do you some screen shots when I am on my home machine.

Nice one, cheers Rob
Have downloaded it, tried it and it works a treat.

Only trouble is now, can I resize all my shots on there, or is it too late

Thanks again, great tool!

I'm not sure about the resizing of ones already uploaded, thats something i've not tried.

I downloaded the uploader () for the same reason you mentioned about getting sizes right for posting. I just left all the ones I had already uploaded. I would imagine that it may be a case of having to put up with the existing ones.

Might be worthg flinging an email off to flickr help, they are pretty good at helping out and you may get a result from them.
