firstly not sure where to post this, so feel free to move it mods.

i use flickr, i like to upload full size images to compare 100%'s and so people can download the full image.

when i choose sized, to host here, i get 1024x683px or 500 x 333px.

now one is to big and 500 IMO is to small.

is there anyway that i can get a 800x600px size, setting a custom size perhaps ?

i really dont want to have to upload at 800x600, but ill have to if i cant get another solution.

cheers for the help.

That's what I do and I don't know of any other way to do it.

ok, ill link.

how do you do a link that, when you click it it loads a bigger pic in a new tab/window ?

Hi

Get the link to your medium size image and use the img tag in your post then on you flickr go to the large size image and copy the url address, back on you post highlight you img link and the click the url tag paste in the url address eg should look some thing like the example below without the astric's HTH

[****URL=http://www.flickr.com/photos/davenjulie/3059198302/sizes/o/"][***img=http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3237/3059198302_799de3a2ab.jpg[/IMG][/URL]

yer i see, and its all done cheers guys.

one other quick thing, while on the flickr bandwaggon.

can i allow EXIF, as all my images are blocked by flickr

pleased you managed to sort it out, as for the exif, it should be available on your flickr images, you could also copy the exif you want to share and put it with your image, or get the exif border script if you use photoshop Clicky link

hi dave, i cant even download my own images, let alone view EXIF

it goes to download, but jsut sits there and wont start ?

when i use exif view i get

Handling APPx (0xe0) block.
Handling APPx (0xe2) block.
End of APPx data blocks reached.
Status = 0

Unable to extract some or all of the Exif data

yer i have the uploaded andy but not really explored it, but i will now.

cheers
