I've recently noticed my photos when viewed on Flickr are fractionally scaled when viewed within Flickr.
e.g. I have a photo that's 800x452 (scaled myself prior to upload), and using the direct link the photo is exactly the right size and looks fine. When viewed in the Flickr photostream or on the All Sizes page, it's been scaled slightly and the sharpness is destroyed as a result. Same with the medium size.

The latter to me is much sharper and seems to be a bigger image.
It's frustrating as anyone looking through my photostream is just seeing soft photos. If I post the photos on a forum or blog, they're fine as they come out without additional scaling.
It looks like Flickr not only resize the images on uploading anyway, but also on top do an HTML resize (which is always awful) to get the image to fit the page.
