Flickr - Views from 'unknown source'

Anyone got an idea what these are or where they are coming from?

I have a quite a few views from 'unknown source' on a picture thats been put onto flickr in the last 24 hours.

Its just making me wonder tbh

Honestly I do wonder, I had my first and only explore a couple of months ago and that had a lot of unknown sources and some random company in Brazil that I couldn't work out I think it had been shared by someone with them as part of an email and had done the rounds on a few message, I hate unknown source with a passion especially when you get a rake of them in 24hrs all on a single random image

I do a google search of the filename on pictures I think are getting the unknown source hits. Usually turns up websites displaying loads of pics by tags. Mostly random sites which don't seem to do much at all except for display flickr images.

Anyone that views an image with their browser with a privacy mode enabled shows up as unknown. Some websites appear to never generate a "known" referral, so I assume it's something to do with the way their scripted. The proportion of unknowns has definitely increased.
