Yes, they're more likely to appear when people use the search box, but also when people search google images.

It also helps to strategically put your photos into as many groups as you possibly can. I've seen a pic put into over 50 groups on Flickr. Goodness only knows who they're trying to kid. There's exposure and there's overexposure

Aha i put my photos in a resonable amount of groups, and tag them all my unless I can honk up a intresting good title I'm not titling them
