You've nailed that Horse Fly - Dai - i may have been tempted to crop a bit of the bright OOF area off the bottom as it draws my eye away from the subject.

Still cant get near the Scorpion fly's in the garden.

I especially like the horse fly and agree with Paul about cropping some of the OOF at the bottom.

Nice angle and I like the the colours of the wood and background. Seems to make the detail/colour of the fly stand out more.
