Flooding, Sunrise & Sheep Rescue

Walked down to the local river (River Leam, Warwickshire) to take some pictures and found a group of sheep stranded on an island in the rising water. Just about welly depth so I was able to get on the island chase them off onto dry ground. Wish I had a video though as watching them, jump the deep bit was funny!

Lovely set ... ... although one or two are a touch over-sharp ... :shrug:


Number 6 looks like is has a shark circling ready to pounce on any wayward sheep ...

Just been back down the river about 5:30pm and it's a good two feet higher now- so probably just as well I moved the sheep off. Also the road is well flooded now. Had fun pulling out a stuck RAC van with my Hilux (who's supposed to rescue the rescuers?).
