This shot is one of many I have from the last few nights ,this as proved to be a very challenging project trying get the birds in flight low down coming through the long grass, not easy to pick up focus plus lying in a awkward position with a camera and lens at the ready ,still WIP at the moment Little owl 17th July 2015 by dennis greenwood, on Flickr
 
I'm no bird photographer but that is rather nice, at least to me :)

But what the heck does FLOSA mean?

Very nice Den. What you don't know about these lovely little birds regarding photographing them probably isn't worth knowing.
 
A great set again, your efforts certainly pay off.

Thanks Bob ,you've hit the nail on the head ,not do I love photographing them they are also fascinating to watch, not just the flight shots but there behaviour as well
 
Lovely set, Dennis. In that last one, you can almost see your reflection in the owl's beady eyes!
