Flower photography, Raynox vs Extension Tube(s)

Hi all,

This question has been asked thousands of times before, but mine is slightly different.
Recently I have found myself finding any excuse to use my 135mm F2 L lens, I simply love it. I have been trying to photograph flowers, leaves etc - shots such as this which I took last week:

Now, while the 135mm is a great lens, it doesn't focus as close as Id like, and this shot is a crop and at MFD.

So basically, I want to be able to get in closer...but Im not after getting true 1:1 macro, or shots of tiny insects etc, I simply want to get a bit closer in to prevent having to crop my shots to get the desire framing.

So, I have a few options, but not sure which is best - could anyone who has experience please recommend me one of the following

1) Raynox DCR 150
2) Raynox DCR 250
3) Kenko Extension Tube (set)

So like I say, Im not after true 1:1 macro, taking ultra close ups of insects etc, I am just after getting a bit closer than my 135L will currently get

From what I have seen of the 135mm I would probably go with tubes. The Raynox does affect the IQ of the lens it is on slightly but the tubes just allow you to focus closer (which is basically what you want).

On the above, also have a look on amazon for Polaroid extension tubes. They do the same job as Kenko but cheaper.

You could also try an Achromatic close up lens such as the 72mm Canon 500D http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-Canon-72-mm-72mm-500D-500-D-Close-up-Filter-/251008030771?pt=UK_CamerasPhoto_CameraAccessories_CameraLensesFilters_JN&hash=item3a713e9833
Though the 77mm one and a stepping ring might be a cheaper option as they seem to crop up more regularly second hand.
