Sorry forgot to mention that part (postie knocked at door) regarding the shell... I spose it could be the fact that its oof - it just doesn't look right & I can't find any "techie" term for it... Like you say maybe to have it in focus may help or even remove it all together may be another option...

But I am no pro - just personal opinion... But it is a cracking shot so dont get me wrong, you have done well (y)

thanks Trig :) What I want is peoples opinions :D
The main reason i used the shell was that the stem was quite short for the flower i was using in the shot, and wanted something natural to sit it in so it could be in shot, will try and use a longer stem next time and see what its like with out the shell... when ever my mum gets flowers I always end up decapitating some :D

Bet she 's you then for decapitating her flowers... I know mine would kill me lol

Great set!

The lighting on the flower in #1 is wonderful but I don't like the shell :(

I love # 2 + 3 - these just jump at you - lovely! # 4 I'm not sure on the comp of this

# 5 - I love the way you have captured the running water on it - fab!
