The 300mm is a great lens for close ups - This is looking under exposed though. Brighten it up and thos beautiful purples will shine through too. Are you using extension tubes? They are useful to bring you in a little too.
Thanks Sara, know what you mean, tried to brighten but just seems to put a mist over it, and know I don't use ext. tubes. I did have them when had 100mm macro lens but sold them on to get some more cash.
