That is a nice colourful set Colin.Couldn't see the lens that you're using in the EXIF on Flickr. Is it the kit lens that came with the 350D? I think it's seriously underrated for its ability to get up nice and close - I did a lot of close up work with mine.
The one thing I do notice with all of these though is that the composition needs a little more thought to take them to the next level.
In the first two there are edges of petals clipped off and in the last one the top of the stamen is missing.
They're also all very central in the frame. This can sometimes work with symmetrical flower shapes, but more often than not it does make a more pleasing composition if you can place the flower off centre.
