These were taken with my 60mm lens that I have recently purchased manually focusing (resulting in an achy arm!).

Any crit is welcome

I think your achy arm is a small price to pay for such a stunning 1st image, I love it

Not too keen on the 2nd when compared to the first shot

Thank you lez, yeah I do need to use my tripod more, sometimes I just lug around my camera when I'm out and about to have less weight, but I know I would have more successful shots with the tripod!

Lovely first pic - just got myself a Canon 400D and borrowed a friend's 90mm macro lens. Need my own now as flower macros are my fave pics and I feel a tad bereft now I've given it back . . .

Thank you, I know what you mean! I originally borrowed the 60mm from a friend and couldn't put it down. I felt so lost afterwards, it's only recently that I was able to get my own Hope you can get your lens soon!
