Focus issue d7100

Has anyone else had af issues on the d7100? I did a wedding and on a few of the group shots it was beeping for focus and looked ok on screen but when I got home and put it on PC the whole frame was out of focus! Everything by the same amount! Nothing in the whole frame was sharp! It only happened 3 times all day out of 600+ shots! Is there a firmware update or a fix or nikon recall?

Are you sure it's not camera shake on those shots ?

No not camera shake! Out if focus!

Are you running the latest firmware Mark? Can't say I've had any issues other than user error.

Well I shoot plenty of weddings on my d7000 and never had one problem! First with the d7100 and I wished I'd not bothered upgrading! What is the newest firmware? I found one on Nikon USA but my body wouldn't recognize it

If it happened 3 times out of 600+, surely you shouldn't be too concerned.

Follow the instructions and put it on the memory card then go into the firmware menu and let the camera upload it and install it. Mine was runnin version 1.00 but it's now on 1.02.

Ok thanks I'll take a look later! I did it before and the version I had on memory card was off of the USA site! But my camera would not not give me the update option for some reason

I did the same. Just copy the file across and not the whole folder.
