Focus on Imaging 2010, worth a visit?

Anyone going to this? Or been before?

Would be a long journey there and back and wondered what to expect and whether it is worth the trip? Also are there many show bargains?

Great show, especially the first time you go - loads of awesome kit to see and play with, and very knowledgeable *** on the stands generally. Also really good seminars if you book them. There were quite a few good deals on gear last year, but the popular stuff sells out fast - people seem to go there to spend money.

Due to work will only be able to go the Sunday, so hopefully will be able to snag a cpl bargains. Only seen the one seminar so far on the site, are more announced just before the event?

if you are interested in buying somthing professional - yes

if you just want to look at stuff - visit a few local camera shops

too many beards, old people and geeks at it lol

At the moment I'm working on the Sunday. To go I'd have to book a day off and pay £36 rail fare!!! Not sure I'll go.

i only went once, it was interesting,but very crowded.
if your coming a long way why not stay overnight and make the most of it?

sunday is "the" day to go,with almost every TP member[inc mods and admin ] meeting up in wetherspoons @ 12pm sharp!
