Tried a few practice shots out on some friends cars this evening, as I wanted to try out some new lighting!

Anyway c&c Welcome

I like the first 2, for the 3rd I'd prefer the car to have more background and less foreground.
 
The mini shot and the 2nd from the Focus are my favourites. Very nice.

Care to explain roughly how you took those? External flash with lightbox and multiple shots? The location had no lights at all?

I took these with my Prolite flash heads front and back of the car, plugged in to a 1000w inverter plugged in to my car.

Same set up I use. Although I only have a smartflash 200 head and a 600w inverter. My first shot with the set up was with a Focus RS too, although a mk2.

Nice shots by the way, the flash really makes the blue pop. I like the foreground being lit and the background being mysteriously dark too.

Is your inverter a pure sine wave?
