I have a piece of dust/lint not sure on my screen. Although it does nor affect the photos it is quite annoying, have tried rocket blower to no avail, any suggestions or just live with it.
Canon 70D

You could pop the screen out, Bob. Some are help by a clip and others are held by a small bracket and two screws.....it's not overly difficult for anyone of normal dexterity.

If you mean the sensor then obviously a wet clean may be necessary but if it is the focus screen it is possible to remove it ... if you feel confident, I'm sure there will be a youtube video for it :)

Have changed screen on my 40d and have that special tool no idea yet if it is the same system for the 70d, if I take it out what would you use to remove it

If it's clipped in then the tool should be fine. If it's held in by a clamp then you'll need a small cross head screwdriver first.

the way I worded my last post might be a bit confusing ;) what I meant was if I get it out what would be best way to remove the dirt :)

Whatever you do, don't wipe or brush the screen. I did, scratched it and had to buy a new one

thank you Elliot for the advice
@gramps will have a gander on you tube

Seems that it's the same as the 5DMkIII....needs a screwdriver to remove the clamp.

The above link would suggest that the 70D is less straightforward than most to replace (therefore I assume [dangerous, I know!] remove and replace for cleaning purposes). The Kazeye instructions are usually pretty good but any disassembly is done at your own risk! Good luck, Bob.

Thanks for the link mate, hmmmm not sure about tackling it myself

It is clearly on the screen and have tried blower again today, it is either on the top side so needs taking or it is something sticky on the lower side
