I often go away for 3-4 day trips abroad and currently take a fair bit of my equipment (5D MK III, 35mm 1.4, 85mm 1.8 and 135mm f2 - not to mention spare batteries, charger, CF cards etc). This usually takes up quite a lot of room in my rucksack as hand luggage (Lowepro Flipside 400AW) which results in my Girlfriend and I sharing one luggage bag for clothes, to go in the hold. This isn't much of a problem but it's an extra £30 or so to do this with Easyjet and being a budget airline they always seem to have very few people on the check-in desk, meaning long wait times and arriving at the airport earlier than necessary.
I'm getting a bit bored of this now so times are changing and thinking that a smaller camera would allow me to fit all of my camera gear and clothes into the rucksack and have no need for baggage check-in. I'm planning to buy a Fuji X Pro 1 with 18mm lens and the offer of a free lens - maybe the 35mm, maybe the 60mm. This will become my holiday camera.
The problem is when I'm then out and about whilst away, I don't really want to cart around a huge rucksack with just a body and a few lenses in. I'm looking for some kind of foldable shoulder bag or something similar so that I can pack it in my rucksack, then when I reach my destination be able to use it as my day bag for just my camera gear.
What are my best options? Budget is around £100 but can stretch to more if I need to.
