Folder light seals

Thanks to my wife, I’ve discovered a stored box of my old film cameras. They’ve been stored dry and in a dehumidified room (my workshop). A few tlr’s (ricohflex, Yashica mat and rollieflex) and a couple of folders and a fed3, fed2 and an exa 1a. They’ve been stored for at least 13-15years and are still in perfect condition.

The tlr are perfect, folders (isolette & perkeo) are in excellent condition but I remember having a light leak in the perkeo. It’s not the bellows.

I’ve just replaced the door hinge seal but can’t find anymore seals. Did it originally have anything along the door catch or wool in the channels? I can’t remember using the Agfa so haven’t got a clue how that is but again, bellows look fine even in the dark with a light inside.

What a find (y)

Cant help with the seal situation.
Just ordered some 120, going to test them next week. I’d forgotten all about them, my wife remembers everything lol! Being self employed for 40 years, a workshop tends to gather storage. It was 43* in there too when I was digging around, I could barely breathe!

I found an old box of mostly mixed filters in one of the wardrobes over the bank holiday and she said I’d got some in the workshop too. Nice surprise when I found they were cameras. One of the feds had a leak but can’t remember which one. The perkeo definitely did. It has channels for the wool seals but they could just be for the large flange on the top/bottom of the door. I really can’t see how the door catch can be 100% sealed, it only has a 1 or 2mm metal overlap.

Buying 120 was a shock compared to the cost of it 20 years ago:oops: :$

Looking forward to seeing the photo's Dave.

Its all relative, I am thinking of giving up a brew a day, I reckon that would give an extra £80 a month spend on film. :)
