Can anyone tell me is Huddersfield ground really bad for transmitting photos via wifi and even mifi.I am under the empresion that it is just about impossible to transmit from inside the ground?
 
its a while since I ahve been but yes.. that would just about sum up my experience of trying to wire..
 
It could just be the volume of people trying use the same access points at the same time. During a game it is likely to be a heavy load and so this might not be unique to Huddersfield?

Nah

The ground is in a cr4p signal area due to being snug against the hillside and the metal structure/lattice work kills any chance of a decent signal in the ground even if you are higher than pitch level !
 
I used to struggle at the Panasonic end of the ground but OK at other end, generally waited until after game and did it from my car in car park, i was using 3, occasionally the grounds wi-fi was OK from the main stand.

Bluesman Graham is a regular there and ive not been for a while so things may have changed

I think that may happen at some grounds but at Huddersfield other togs and reporters have told me that the grounds own wifi and anyones mifi are 90% miss and 10% hit. As has been said"do it I the car after the match" seems to be the answer.
 
Agree with Blue Marlin!

I sent out via FTP 22 images @ 1/1.2 meg each in 45 seconds on 4G Tuesday night, (I checked it cos on Sat it was 55 secs & was in competition with Andy Catchpool of the Hudd's Examiner who was on vodaphone lol).

Sending at half time via 4g can be slower but very acceptable, & a lot slower if there is a large away support turnout, but ! always manage to still send out!
I now use EE 4G Mifi but use to use 3's 3g which did struggle at prime times?.

Club wifi a waste of time to anyone pitch side but useable if you head up into the journo's area in the main stand as pointed out by Gary.
