Yes
It was hot, hot, hot at Yate as Gloucester City rolled over the Bristol housing estate side 2-0 on their own pitch and the 2-0 was flattering on Yate!

Here are a few over-exposed looking shots that I took at the game :)

-----

Supporters unite!

Players unite!

Jack Pitcher stoops for a header only to see it go wide

But Jack was luckier later in the game as he scored his first of the season

He jumped for joy!

Jack is good at winning penalties, although he didn't get one this time

Tom Hamblin powers in to win a header against Yate's Dean Griffiths

Luke Ballinger was in the right place at the right time to poke home City's second

"Some people are on the pitch, they think it's all over.... it is now!"

Darren Hawkins - the guy is an a* - he slammed the ball my way for no reason and almost hit my camera

Lee Marshall cools down during a break in play

Yate's Griffiths talked his way into a booking after he'd been subbed

What is it with footballers and tattoos?

And finally some high kicking action from Marshall

Thanks for looking, as ever C&C appreciated. The full gallery is here :)

Yes, you need to keep everything cropped as tight as poss and include the magic elements of ball and players eyes wherever possible.

Agree with what you say about the eyes, thats why I can't fathom other types of "sport" photography like American Football and Motorsport where they wear helmets.

Great set of shots there, you've really caught some drama there!
