Well I spent last weekend at the Morgan Horse Regionals in Syracuse NY. I thought you might like to see how we do a horse show here as it is a bit different.

Just to let you know I had to shoot at ISO 1600 so the results are horrid but you can still see the important bits!

Hunter Pleasure - Walk Trot Jr. Exhibitor (she took champ but I didn't get a pic w/ her ribbons on) I used to train horses for her grandparents.

It isn't dressage it is something called Saddle Seat. It seems to be unique to america. The horses have exaggerated knee and hock action and they have necks that come out of the shoulder vertical. Usually it is Morgans, Saddlebreds and Arabians who do it.
