On the other hand, if you are a professional photographer that isn't so bad - have a look at the price of a 600mm f4 - about the same for that lens, or the other two in the same bracket.

However, imagine being able to shoot at 12,800 ISO and get A2 prints out of it. The D3S will shoot USABLE images at 102,500 ISO - thats right, over 100,000 ISO. You know the old one about a black cat in a coal cellar - well you can now do it without turning the light on!
