Formatt/Hitech Pro Filters 10 stop alternative

Just read two reviews by apparent `pros` who have used the new redesigned 10 stop filter from formatt filters who are based in wales,the old filters were poor but with the new ones there is very minimal colour cast now which can easily be removed in photoshop, and they recommend that filter over the lee because you can actually get one in a matter of days instead of weeks, and they are less fragile.

Anyone got them on here and got any examples, will find the links for the pro reviews when i get home.
 
I've just bought one today based on those reviews. The new one does appear to have fixed the problems with the original. Won't get to use it until Christmas though :(

I did find someone in stock with the Lee big stopper and they wanted £100 for it which was nearly 2x what I paid for my Hitech one. They are going for silly money on e-bay though.
 
I've got one but have not used in anger as yet, but following initial test shots the thing to be aware of when using it with a Nikon D300 is that on some models a light leak round the AF assist lamp is apparent.

Now resolved with a bit of black tape over the AF assist lamp

I have bought one and succesfully used it at Trafalgar Square. I did a 5 minutes exposure. it worked great but does have a green color cast. It was easy enough to remove in photoshop.

Im heading to South Africa in december and will be using it extensivily there as we will be at the coast.

Much cheaper on the pocket than the Lee, which as previously stated takes weeks to arrive and cosst sos much, ive seen them going on ebay for £300!! crazy!!!
