Been a bit busy here and there this month between Europe and the rest of the world, I probably been at home about a week out of three and honestly I don't really miss it.

Anyway below a few pictures of the first two GPs of the year...

1 - I know, same shot of last year but i kinda like it...

3 - Ferrari seem to have the pace this year...

4 - I wonder will people start hate Sebastian again instead of Nico...

5 - Lewis on his way to his first win of the season...

In Malaysia the heat is not only a problem for the drivers and team personnel, but also for the media...

7 - Those are not sweat tears on my lens but nearly...

8 - Another German...

10 - Another copy of a shot I took last year but possibly the only nice stock shot you can take at Sepang...and only when it rains...

11 - Both Toro Rosso better placed than the Red Bulls...

2 and 3 for me but they are all top drawer....well that is apart from the finger !

Great work James, very creative. #3 is a corker, love the colour.

Cheers Neil, I love number 3 too despite being a fairly stock shot. It is normally seen very tight and angled...I tried to keep it straight using the Emirates advertising to my advantage to get more red behind the Ferrari...luckily it come out sharp with the right car.

2, 5, 7 & 10... Wowzers. #2 is one of the best shots i have ever seen. Simply fab.

Bet you were pleased to see Seb win on Sunday, weren't you?

Thanks David, I must say I do not love Ferrari at all, I just like the guy and yes pretty pleased with the results and very emotions as it happened so quickly.

Stunning stuff, thanks for sharing

Loving 2 & 7, thanks for these. They're all fab.

Absolutely stunning, this is my kind of f1 photography. The Lauda one is bloody fantastic.

Thanks all :)

2 and 3 for me but they are all top drawer....well that is apart from the finger !

Lol, you just give me an idea for a shot I shall try to do when he is going to win again :D although would have worked better in this circumstance.

Somebody pointed me at this set, particularly the contemplative Austrian - love that one in particular and the set as a whole. Odd thing is that I can't say exactly why I like the Lauda shot so much. Compositionally it seems to break almost all the rules and technically, that flare is horrendous. No eye contact with the subject and he might not have wanted the shot taken. Burned out sun and blocky shadow area. Still love it though!

Yep, the lighting in the Lauda shot is lovely. The concept behind 3/5 (which are similar in theme) is really nice.
