A post on another forum prompted me to have a rummage around to see if I could find some of my old film gear. I turned up; a Mamiya/sekor 50mm f1.8, a Chinon 200mm f3.5 (can't wait to try this out) a Vivitar 28-70mm and a zuiko 28 and 50mm. Needless to say I promptly ordered an OM to eos adapter and a M42 to eos adapter which came in the post today. Here's a few test shots from the Mamiya:
1) This thing is sharp at f4

2) Nice bokeh at f1.8

3) Works very well with extension tubes (Obligatory spring time dandelion

All these are straight out of the camera with no sharpening aside from the default in camera stuff, not bad for a lens that cost half the price of my camera strap.
