Yes, wonderful place :)

But didn't the National Trust photo police threaten to chop yer balls off? If you take a rubbish snap that nobody likes then they're not bothered, but if you take a decent picture and dare to want to share it with the likes of us on here, they threaten you with the Spanish Inquisition ;)
 
That reminds me of a visit to the Alhambra in Granada, Spain.
No photography was allowed in some of the outer buildings which had some rather nice ceramic work on the walls, though inside the 'good' bit which you had to queue up for it was unrestricted, but you had to wait for all the punters to get out of the shot...
I went back early the next day to get some better shots sans sandal-wearing Germans...
