Hi, when it comes to framing your photography just wondered what everyone does?

Do you do it yourself?

And where do you get the materials from?

Im looking for cheap frames thin frames like the one's you see at exhibitions etc

And maybe Plexiglass

Thanks

for the few i do frame i simply get cheap frameless A4 and A3 mounts from wilkinsons, they come with a glass front and small chrome clips.

I also look out for cheap frames in car boots and charity shops.

Frames from Matalan, Wilkinsons. Some come with mounts, or I cut my own mounts.

I use ikea ribba frames 40x30cm in a 50x40cm frame and mount. aso have standard A4 frames on the wall

I use a lot of the black ikea frames. I dont like the mounts though, they seem a bit magnolia in colour. I get seperate mounts cut to accomodate the size I want. look svery simple and clean.

I'm quite lucky in that there is a framing shop about 1/4 mile from my home so they get all my mount and framing business. We've just re-negotiated the cost of mounts after I got such a good deal from PictureLizzard in Swindon :)
