Hi All,

Can anyone recommend a free program for basic photo edits such as red eye removal. Info needed for a friend who has a basis digital compact and no desire to invest in elements etc.

It's more user friendly then is used to be anyway. There are some good tutorials on the web site.

Irfanview, it also is able to view raw files

RAW File plugin UFRaw for gimp (works as a stand alone as well).

Although, at present I am using Picasa as it is really easy to use.
