ON1 now regularly offers the current version of its software just before the next release comes out, and then tempts you with an upgrade to the new release, which you are free to ignore.
At the moment, it's NoNoise AI 2024 that's available for free until the end of July.
I bought the two earlier versions and found them to be good, but probably a tier below DXO/Topaz/Adobe and certainly not as good as my current favourite: Capture One.
But if you are looking for a good denoising program, it's worth a look, and it also has some advanced sharpening tools. I'm basing this on the older releases, as I haven't yet tried this new one yet.
