I'm having a little trouble getting my colours right on the net, in photostrop the reds are much more vivid :(

Not done any snaps of plants before............comments

hi didgy
look like freesia's to me too, i get the same problem when taking photos of red/bright orange flowers, especially field poppys, always seems to bright, so i under expose for this usually getting a good picture (raw) but can never get it right for web showing..
good photo BTW

how are you saving for web? i think there is a quick thread on that somewhere?

Hi boon, long time :(

In photoshop it was vibrant and nice, on the same screen now it looks a little flat. :(

I'm glad I got the name of them right.....:)

I followed the threads advice posted by moomike, while it was originaly set on uncompressed or something like that, i changed it to own profile and the 2up images looked very different.
It's just that now it's on the net it looks flatter!

I have the saved jpeg and the displayed jpeg side by side on the same screen and there is a difference!!!!!1

My head hurts :(

if i remember rightly i think the compression flattens the colours too, CT once said to me, sharpen the image after saving for web, although in PSCS2 i dont know how to do this after compression.:wacky:
did a levels on it, and a sharpen, looks a little darker to me..

I'm falling victim to something strange i think.
