From Sony A55 to Canon 60D

So i picked up my new 60d after struggling with the alpha a55, mainly with the view finder. I am very pleased with the canon it feels very good to shoot with and great balance not taken loads of photos yet but here a quick wall art shot. I am trying to use the camera in manual all the time to try and get to learn the creative possibilities of photography.

Nice one Rich, I too find the 60D very comfortable to hold, it's a very nice camera.

I have to say I found the 60 to be a bit short and therefor found my pinky finger hanging off the bottom however with a grip attached this was overcome and is now an extremely comfortable body

I was very green when i bought my Alpha A55 as it was my first dslr and the alpha was packing some great technology but it just didnt feel like a proper dslr more of a toy camera "sorry to all alpha a55 owners", But in saying that it did take some very nice photos. But that view finder was the final nail in the coffin very hard to get a good clear view when manual focussing. Just had a quick go with the movie mode in the canon and i am very impressed. a bit more practise need i think as its totally different shooting video with a dslr than a dedicated camcorder.
