A westerly gale whipping up the surf at Balintore Harbour, Scotland.
These lads were getting wet from the spray but were enjoying the show.

I like the shot, the colour exposure etc is lovely. (y)

but there is something wrong with it.
I cannot put my finger on it :shrug:

Is it the balance maybe the horizon or both :shrug:
 
Lovely colours. Id crop out some of the boardwalk wood in the front of the pic though :) Just an idea
 
Up to your usual high tech standards, although compositionally I would have liked the lads less central.
 
Looks a little bit pink all over, to me? :shrug:

I like the boardwalk though, the jaunty lines draw you in! (y)
 
Thanks for your comments. Les I tried all kinds of crops but this seemed to suit the best. What the lads are sitting on are pontoons that have been removed from the harbour for the winter.
 
Its a great shot, but the sky doesnt look right for the weather? very strange

I like it though!!

Its a shame the old tram lines are visible, full length planks would have looked cracking.
