I have a Fuji 60mm that gets stuck in P no matter what settings the camera is on. The time it comes out of P mode is when it is put on f16. It seems to be an issue that crops up quite frequently. I was just wondering if anyone has experienced this and had the lens fixed? I would quite like to know how much this is going to cost as I have recently bought a 56mm and don't really need this lens so would be looking to sell it. I have heard people mention about £120-£150 but nothing concrete. Its quite annoying.

Did it come with your 8 month old X-Pro1? - if so, back to Fuji under warranty would be the route I'd take.

It looks like a few people have had this problem. The only solution seems to be to return it.
At least Fuji are aware of the problem.

Just wondering can this be fixed by an firmware update ?,and are both the camera & lens on the latest firmware :)

Apparently not. Other instances have been a faulty encoder in the lens.

It was bought 2nd hand so no warranty. I was thinking of selling it for repair, rather than pay for the repair then sell it.

If it is a known fault,it might be worth getting contact with Fuji,i did hear of a few people with the SAB problem on their X100 getting them done FOC even that they were S/H :)
