My fuji s3 pro seems to be missing the cap on the shutter button. It as a threaded hole on the silver so I take it that it's meant to have a rubber button??? That screws in. Does anybody know where I can get a original one as seen the ones on ebay but would like a original one as the camera is mint and original so want to keep it that way

I think that’s where a cable release fits. You can fit a button, though if I’m correct it’s not an original feature/part.

Yep, it's a cable release hole, just like all SLRs once had! Whilst you're at it, make sure you lock your portrait shutter release button (which doesn't have the thread for a remote btw) or you'll be finding yourself taking shots at random from your palm!

I use a ten pin shutter release cable on the side of it???? But looking at stock pics of it seems that they don't have a cover which seems weird

Not weird - just authentically retro.

Cheers for the confirmation ppl. Is it possible to get a flush soft rubber cover for it???

Search for "soft shutter" on Amazon or Ebay.
