Yes
this is a typical KR remark in that is sweeping and not-verified/proven

For sports and landscapes and most other things, it's worse than my Nikon D200, or even my Nikon D40.

do you agree..?

I have both the S5pro & the nikon D200 and believe me the Fuji is the better camera and miles ahead of the D40

yes, ignore rockwell and his mad lust for the D40. It's a good camera, but S5 worse than the D40? come off it... the dynamic range and picture from the S5, processed well, is fantastic.

ok agree with that against the D40... BUT - a dual owner - just what i wanted

now - mainly landscapes... no people, kids dogs family weddings, wildlife

D200 or Fuji S5...?

I know - sometimes wonder if he sleeps with one...........

however the S5 DR seems to be gained with losses in other areas

landscapes! D200 or S5?

hmmm sussed it in 3 minutes eh ?..........

dont you have a studio to paint or something, instead of spending time here...

Me and David wrote a task list today....only a partial one, I still have emails to crawl through and a digital task manager to check.....

I wrote down 41 order related tasks :( I suspect there are in the region of 70 bits of unfinished work all kicking around. I need a slap :D.

D200 or Fuji S5...?

There dynamic range makes them great for landscapes and portraits...if it was for sport and fast moving subjects then I would go for the D200...
check the second hand prices on the S5pros..there going for more secondhand than they was new due to high demand..i have watched them go for over £600 on the bay regularly

Make that 3, I've just got hold of a minty one that has the Nikon grip to complement my D300.

Yes I've got one in the post. The reviews seem to indicate you might be better off (or at least no worse off) shooting at the med jpg 6mb, is this the case in real life?
