Hi, I have a Fuji X-E1 that I wish to use some of my Nikon Ai manual focus lenses on. I have purchased an adapter to enable me to fit these lenses and they fit perfectly.
Before I purchased the adaptor I was concerned that I might not be able to get infinity focus but all seems just fine. Obviously I realise that the aperture will have to be stopped down etc manually.
What I can't do is get the shutter to fire when the adaptor is in place. I just wondered if anyone else has experienced this and if so is there a way of working around the problem. It's obviously something to do with the lens throat contacts, also if there is no lens or anything else attached to the camera the shutter will not fire. I have tried all exposure modes ie A,S,P,M but to no avail.
Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.
